TOTAL CASH AND KIND DONATIONS SENT TO TYPHOON VICTIMS PHILIPPINE CONSULATE - NEWS RELEASE 24 February 2005 The Philippine Consulate General is releasing its list of more donors to the recent typhoon in the Philippines. Total cash donations as of 15 February: $33,655.25. These donations have been remitted to the National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) in the Philippines. Eighty three (83) balikbayan boxes of in-kind donations have been shipped to the Emergency Action Unit of the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Manila and to the towns of Real and Infanta, Quezon.
