The seminar aims to present why the Philippines is popularly chosen by global companies as an attractive location for their information technology (IT) enabled services requirements, how the country’s human resources fill the increasing global demand for skilled communication and technology professionals, and what US clients have to say about their Philippine experience. A senior official of the Philippine trade department, together with the industry association on business process outsourcing, will be the primary speakers. They will present the public-private partnership that is responsible for ensuring the continued viability of the Philippines as an e-services provider to the world. Firm-level presentations will follow, to be done by top executives from leading Philippine companies with track records in contact center services and solutions, diversified business process services, financial and accounting services, global procurement, content management and development, software development, telecommunications and infrastructure, IT parks and real estate, and legal support for e-services.
