Phil Board of Investment announces Easy Recall Toll Free Number (1-800-9800-BOI) PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GENERAL - NEWS RELEASE 22 November 2005 In line with efforts by the Philippine government to provide timely assistance and information to foreign investors, the Philippine Board of Investments (BOI) launched on 26 August 2005 a BOI Easy Recall Toll Free Number. The number is 1-800-9800-BOI. With this new number, investors from the US and Canada can now call the Philippines beyond the regular office hours from 10:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M., Monday to Friday (or 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., Pacific Standard Time), and receive information in real time from a BOI agent on any concern they may have about investing in the Philippines. According to New York Consul General Cecilia Rebong, the BOI Easy Recall Toll Free Number project was made possible through a partnership agreement between the BOI and Synergia Cybercare, Inc., which utilizes Five9’s VCC Solution. Earlier this year, the BOI launched another project to help potential foreign investors navigate the process of starting up a business in the Philippines.
