Final Deadline in Paying Gulf War Claimants

NEW YORK --- The United Nations Compensation Commission (UNCC) Governing Council in its 56th Session in Geneva has set the final deadline in paying Gulf War claimants with approved claims from the UNCC.

Gulf War claimants have only until 28 May 2007 to claim their compensation. Otherwise, their war compensation will be returned to the UNCC. Furthermore, the Philippine Claims and Compensation Committee Secretariat (PCCCS) will wind down its affairs in line with the UNCC deadline.

Following is a list of Gulf War claimants with unclaimed compensation at the PCCCS despite communications sent to their last known addresses:
